Welcome to the
Inspired Phoenix
Success Coaching website. My name is
Chip Huge, PhD, CC and my mission is to help you discover and create
YOUR successful future, one you can look forward to and brag
about. One that is exciting. One that is rewarding in all
ways possible. If you think this sounds too outrageous read on and let me explain how we can make it happen.
My
goal
is
to assist
you removing ANY blocks to your success and discovering and
accomplishing whatever
you define as success which is usually the most fun and rewarding for you.
After
working as a healthcare professional for 15 years, I moved
to Bend, Oregon where I spent 15 years working with
therapeutic schools and programs for “at-risk” teens, young adults
and their parents.
Right now I am not sure if that is the politically correct
term, but it was then. The interesting thing was most of students
were perceived at-risk because they didn't accept or fit in the status quo.
Hmmm...sound familiar? I found them all to
be wonderful people. Maybe angry, maybe depressed, but
wonderful just the same. They just weren't necessarily making
great decisions all the time (it is hard to do that when you
are bright and see the contradiction in most of their
surroundings). Needless to say I enjoyed working with
them because I didn't really see anything "wrong" with them.
A basic tenet
of one of my teachers is if you create enough
laws soon everyone will be criminals. I got tired of always
hearing about their weaknesses and inappropriate behaviors and
evaluations focused on one thing only - what was
broken. The past few years I chose to become a coach rather
than a counselor.
The value
in all this was after a time a
theme emerged. I enjoyed working with powerful
people and I had fun helping them figure
out new ways of creating their SUCCESS. I chose to focus on
my client's natural strengths, talents and motivators. Exciting
new directions and ways of doing things started surface so I
became a coach rather than a counselor.
So to make
a long story short, I discovered my real passion was Success
Coaching. It included all of my training in business,
education, recreation, healthcare, sales, seminar trainer,
and basically gave me permission to play with my clients
while presenting new ways
to define and achieve success, whatever that may mean to my
clients.
And more
good news. Fantastic tools have emerged in the last ten
years that allow change to
unfold RAPIDLY. Instantaneous works for me! Success speaks for itself.
One tool, Emotional
Freedom Techniques (EFT) is awesome for just what it
implies- removing emotional charges. It is fun and quick to work with.
The Highlands
Ability Battery is unique for its ability to uncover my
clients' natural strengths and talents if not known or have
been forgotten.
The world
not too long ago was perceived as
safer so more mistakes could be made in "growing up".
It taught maturity. Not today. Now I work with
Interest Surveys and Values Sorts to help clients know what
kind of environments will feel best and be most rewarding. And
the nice part is they are all simple, easily learned and
used. over the internet and telephone.
Today
there is a lot of clamor about having to be successful, at
every level, individually to nationally. The pressure is
keen, even at the elementary school level, and stress abounds. I sincerely believe, with the new
tools that are out there, and with newer ones surfacing,
life can be the dream everyone wants. The key is to be ready
to let go of what is not working. I think this cartoon sums
it all up.
Simply
put, my focus is
about coaching you to greater personal insight from
within, not outside of yourself, using fast and
effective tools while developing a
Personal Vision based on the following factors…
Learning simple success principles
and tools and practicing them in real life situations can go a long way
(while being fun and enjoyable in the process). REAL LIFE is
experiential. Often it is just knowing where to start and
using the tools of some of the greatest coaches in the
world to make it work. Fear and doubt can be easily released
with these new tools. Based on our experience these are practical and
simple approaches that work for most individuals and their families.
If not, we try something different.
SUCCESS Coaching maintains
the focus of supporting individuals in
their discovery that life can be easier, rewarding,
supportive and uplifting regardless of past
experience. Remember...
Personal Understanding + Planning + Action = SUCCESS
- Like a GPS system, SUCCESS Coaching is about locating
two important points of reference: where you are now and where you want to be.
I call it two-pointing. Get a direction and then we
remove the blocks along the way.
- Success is defined by you and a successful life is one where the journey is as enjoyable as the attainment of a goal.
Remember, all behavior is about feeling better about
something. The old model of "no pain no gain" is
closely next to the one of where dinosaurs ruled the
earth. If you insist on holding onto the old models then
SUCCESS Coaching is not for you. This is about
freedom and adventure, not suffocation. The good news is
I am not
into PAIN at all.

Most of
my clients
are from or have been raised in environments where accomplishment was the primary consideration and as a result experience high levels of unneeded stress. This stress hinders good decision-making and we give our clients permission to discover (or re-discover) how enjoyable decision-making can be.
There is a huge difference between motivation and
inspired action. And without emotional blockages,
inspired is so much easier.

Discovering your “authentic self” is done when
your personal rules of the game are understood and
demonstrated.
Life is about creating joy. As one wise sage put it "you create your own
reality". The challenge
of the past has been accepting what others say are the rules and then finding out they don’t work for you.
And the rule makers are generally not using them
either by the way. If you are an entrepreneur you
know what I mean. You did not come here to
regurgitating someone else's life. We encourage discovering the real “You” and then aligning and playing with it.
This is where the magic happens.
